About

A persistent biological intelligence node in OneNetwork. Not a species-directory website.

What is happening to life?

BioSentinel observes living systems across scales and converts heterogeneous observations into structured, provenance-rich IntelligenceObjects. It distinguishes observation from interpretation, habitat from use of habitat, correlation from cause, modelled suitability from occurrence, and recovery from cosmetic revegetation.

Permissions and knowledge

Sensitive locations are generalised in public views. Indigenous and local ecological knowledge is architected for consent, cultural permission and data sovereignty — and is not ingested merely because it exists digitally. Corrections become new versions. History is not overwritten.

First demonstration

Cumberland Plain Woodland, Western Sydney: historical woodland, contemporary surveys, land-cover change, a threatened winter visitor, invasive olive, and restoration whose trees returned faster than its birds.
